There are a few different reasons why your tire tread was bald and your other tires are fine. One option is that you could have a bent or damaged spindle on the trailer. Another option could be that unevenly loading your trailer and putting more weight on the bald tire side. The stem valve could be bad which is not allowing it to hold its full pressure.
